TriCK-or-TrEAt, gimmie something good to eat!

We can't wait for Halloween! It is such a fun holiday. We haven't quite decided what Nolan is going to be for his first Halloween..... so you'll have to stay posted and find out. We have had a small taste of fall in the air this week. The leaves are turning and there is a chill in the air. I love it. Fall is by far my favorite season. Take time to soak in the moments.

Mmm, this pumpkin tastes so good!

I was a little camera happy today with Nolan. He has been loving being on his tummy so we took advantage of it. Here he is posing with the pumpkin.

Since the leaves are officially changing and fall is here, we though it only appropriate to get Nolan in the spirit of Halloween. We even put Michael Jackson's song, "Thriller" on our blog to get everyone in the mood for Halloween.

Can't get enough of our boy!

Did somebody say LaDiEs NiGhT?...

All of the ladies in the cul-de-sac get together every first and third Tuesday night of the month. This was our first get together, which was so much fun. Everyone brought their wedding pictures to the shindig. We just reminisced about our wedding day and how much fun it was to be a bride. It is so nice to have such friendly neighbors. I love all of them. And the best part is.... we are all in the same boat.

Splish splash, I was takin' a bath

Soapin' up and havin' fun!

Look at that face. Isn't he the cutest?!!!
Nolan hasn't quite learned how to close his eyes when we poor water on his head. He usually just makes this funny face. But nonetheless, he loves it.

Nolan loves the tub. Here he is just chillin' in his seat.

We have become picture happy with the boy. We enjoy watching him play on is saucer. This is the same day that Jake took the buzzer to him.

FiRSt HaIRcuT..... can we say "Biff?"

Okay, so Nolan and Jake stayed home from church on Sunday because Nolan was sick and Jake was recovering from being sick. Well, the boys stayed busy. When I got home Jake and the boy were outside talking to the neighbors. They both turn around and WOW!!....... Jake had taken the buzzer to Nolan's hair! I could not stop laughing for the life of me. It was sticking straight up. Jake blow dried his hair to make it stand up before attempting to cut it. He looked like Biff on "Back to the Future."
So a note to self..... never leave Jake home alone on a Sunday with the boy.
Even though I wasn't there to experience the first haircut, this whole experience has kept me smiling. I mean, who can't smile and laugh when you look at this picture?
My two favorite boys. I can't get enough of them.

Lets go joggin'

I finally bought a jogger stroller!!!! Yeah! I love it. I take it out everyday (except Sunday). Nolan has been enjoying it as well. He gets so excited every morning when I strap him in. This picture was too cute for words. He looks irresistible in his beanie. Gotta love this kid!
I loved what I read on Kendra's blog! I was out running on Saturday and was thinking of all the things that I love so much about Wisconsin. So thanks to Kendra, I am going to give you...

ThE ToP tEn ReAsOnS wE lOvE, lOvE, lOvE iT hErE iN tHe, "LaNd Of ThE gOoD eArTh!"

  • Our cul-de-sac hold dessert night every Sunday. Mmmm!
  • There are about 10,000 lakes in the state of Wisconsin. Too bad we don't have a boat, but it is still, so beautiful.
  • The way the people here say, "bag and oh yeah." Hopefully we can pick up some type of accent.
  • How many good friends that we are making here.
  • The beautiful streets are full of tree after tree after tree..... It makes the daily runs so enjoyable.
  • Jake's M1's baseball team and how they played the game with their glove in one hand and a beer in the other. Only in Wisconsin, right.
  • The Milwaukee sneak. This is when you are at a light and there is only one lane but "they" make it two, sometimes three, and sneak in front of you when the light turns green but then don't even go the speed limit.
  • There is guaranteed a rummage sale every weekend throughout all of Milwaukee and the surrounding towns. You can find some great things at them.
  • The cold chill in the air that lets us know fall is coming. I can't wait to see what the tree filled streets will look like when the leaves change colors!
  • My very favorite thing about Wisconsin is when I go running I am always running into block parties. And these aren't your typical parties. They literally block off the entire block and have fun blow up toys and games and yummy smelling food and of course beer! I haven't seen a block party in years and when I run into one it makes me smile.

So I hope that you have felt a little bit of love for our town, Milwaukee. We love it here and are learning new things everyday. Thanks Kendra for the idea and the enlightenment. We can't wait to see everyone in December. Take time to enjoy the fall season. It is such a beautiful time!

Boxing Daddy!!!!!!

Nolan loves to beat up on dad. We thought it as only appropriate to do so in his cool hooded towel.

Fun moments with Nolan
